Our customer Grammer AG from the beautiful Upper Palatinate is a source of inspiration and a think tank for car interiors. In addition to consoles, headrests and other interior components, glass panels are also refined in Amberg before they are installed in our cars.

When grinding and polishing glass, carcinogenic dusts are produced that must be extracted and filtered to protect employees and comply with statutory health and safety regulations. We have designed an extraction solution for Grammer for two work booths in which 4 polishing blocks can be extracted in 3-shift operation.

The dust mixture of polishing paste, lint and glass is extracted directly at the machines and filtered in a Series 4000 deduster with 7.5 kW power.
