🧪 Specialized extraction solution for chemical production

Together with our partner Technorobot, we developed and manufactured a stainless steel extraction unit for a customer in the chemical industry. The unit is currently being shipped and will subsequently be installed on-site in the production facility.
The extraction solution captures emissions generated during the transfer of chemical products. This process produces salt dust and a mixture of alcohol, diethyl ether, and salt mist. For this demanding application, the solution was specifically designed to meet the process requirements and ensure explosion protection.
The following are used:
✔️ P 2000 Series filter unit in stainless steel
✔️ Stainless steel compressor
✔️ ATEX-certified version for explosive gases
✔️ Spark detection and suppression system with water
To ensure maximum safety, a spark detector continuously monitors the inlet area of the filter chamber. If the system detects a potential ignition source, the inlet to the filter chamber is automatically sealed off by a pneumatic shut-off valve, and the extraction unit is safely shut down. The filter unit is then flooded with water via distribution nozzles. In addition, a temperature sensor constantly monitors the condition of the filter chamber. This reliably minimizes the risk of ignition.
The purified exhaust air is then fed into the building’s local exhaust ventilation system.
With custom-designed extraction solutions, we ensure process safety and reliable emission monitoring even in demanding applications within the chemical industry.
