Together with Tritschler, we realized an extraction cabins in the form of a machine enclosure for a customer in plastics processing during cutting on a slitter rewinder. 💪

Machine enclosures prevent the spread of emissions, protect the environment and increase safety. The harmful plastic dust is captured via extraction columns in the cabin and additionally via a machine connection directly on the winder.

For the project, the extraction cabins were designed according to the “open downstream flow” principle. The booth is supplied with supply air via a separating curtain. The air flows freely and supports simple one-sided captures.

In addition, the extraction cabins are designed as soundproof cabins. This reduces the noise level and noticeably reduces noise pollution for employees. 🔊

A P 3000 series deduster (5.5 kW | 7,000 m³/h) in ATEX design including HEPA H14 afterfilter is connected.
