💡 Customized extraction solution for tight spaces
At one of our customers’ facilities, the grinding and polishing of chrome steel generates dust containing oil, which must be reliably captured and filtered within a confined space. To address this challenging task, we implemented an extraction solution customized to the specific process and spatial conditions.
The air is captured directly in the sanding booth via four extraction columns equipped with intake nozzles. The contaminated air is conveyed via a permanently installed pipe system to the P 3000 deduster (7.5 kW | 8,500 m³/h) and reliably filtered. Since the dust generated contains oil, an ABSAUGWERK pre-coating unit with integrated level monitoring protects the filter elements and ensures consistently reliable system operation.
The purified air is then routed through a HEPA filter box equipped with an H14 filter in accordance with TRGS 560 and recirculated into the cabin.
A floor extraction box with a protective grille was also installed to clean the work area.
