Think Big – Hall extraction for welding fumes

16. January 2024

For our customer in Hungary, we didn’t just spill the beans, we went all out! 💪🏼 During the grinding and welding of aluminum and steel, 6 workstations were to be extracted simultaneously and the hall air continuously filtered. 🔧💨

As aluminum dust is combustible, we had to comply with various ATEX directives regarding explosion protection. After all, safety first! 🔥

Due to the limited space available, our systems for hall extraction, such as the P 7000 deduster, are usually installed outside. The side cyclone, which resembles a smoker, separates coarse particles from the air flow in advance to protect the filters and minimize energy consumption. Clever technology for clean air 💡

Our fitters had a real work-out on this job! In addition to the deduster, a total of 77 meters of pipe were installed. 💪🔩

A successful project that shows how important occupational health and safety and air pollution control are for production companies throughout Europe. 👏🌬️
