At one of our customers, several welders work simultaneously in a hall with a volume of almost 4,400 m³. MAG welding of black steel produces large amounts of harmful welding fumes that need to be extracted.

For this we have a R 6000 series fume filter with a 37.0 kW motor and a maximum air volume of 32,500 m³/h. The system works according to our Push-Pull-Plus system. Additional vertically aligned supply air grilles in the floor area support the inherent thermal properties of the welding fumes. The contaminated air rises more quickly, is captured at the hall ceiling, fed to the extraction unit via a pipe system and filtered there.
The system was installed outside and, at 4.5 meters high, is almost as high as the hall itself. 📐
