Mobile Welding Fume Extraction System for Reisch Fahrzeugbau 🚛

20. August 2026

How do you fit two welding fume filters, large extraction hoods, and two combinable welding robots under a low factory ceiling—without taking up any additional production space? For Reisch Eliasbrunn GmbH, we developed a customized and, above all, flexible extraction solution to address this challenge.

What makes this system unique is that the two fume filters from the R 2000 series (performance: 4 kW | 6,000 m³/h) were mounted directly onto the mobile robot carriages, along with the welding robots and extraction hoods. The extraction system thus moves in tandem with the welding system.

For this to work, the weight, footprint, and piping had to be precisely tailored to the application. The fume filters were designed to be particularly lightweight and compact. At the same time, flexible hose elements provide the necessary flexibility in the piping layout.

Welding fumes are captured directly by the large, height-adjustable extraction hoods and reliably filtered. Despite high suction power, the weight and energy consumption remain low. 💪

🎯 Our extraction units are more than just standard. We design them based on the ABSAUGWERK principle and tailor our units to meet our customers’ specific needs. That’s what makes our solutions real. better.
