One of our customers machines carbon steel components in several consecutive processing steps. The challenge: to safely and efficiently capture the resulting dust directly at the various processing stations.

The extraction solution was precisely tailored to the individual processing steps. Four specially designed custom hoods are used for targeted capture during countersinking, milling, brushing, and cleaning. The capture system is supplemented by an additional custom hood with process-dependent control via a pneumatic shut-off valve.

Extraction is handled by a P 2000 series deduster (2.2 kW | 3,500 m³/h). A cyclone separator mounted on the side supports the extraction unit by pre-separating coarser particles and dust. The cleaned air is then recirculated back into the production area.
