Extraction solutions for manual work processes 💪

Together with our premium partner NEXTFILTER, we implemented a custom extraction solution for a combined grinding and welding workstation for one of our customers. 💪

When machining carbon steel and stainless steel, welding fumes and grinding dust are generated from various emission sources. To ensure effective extraction, we therefore rely on targeted capture directly at the source: via an extraction arm mounted on a wall bracket, a side hood on the workbench to capture rising fumes and dust, and a direct connection to the belt sander.

A P 2000 series deduster (3.0 kW | 4,500 m³/h) installed indoors ensures reliable extraction. The system is designed so that either the extraction arms and belt sander can be operated simultaneously, or, alternatively, the side hood can be used.

💡 When machining stainless steel, dust and fumes containing harmful metal compounds can be generated. To ensure safe air recirculation, the system was therefore additionally equipped with HEPA H14 post-filters. An integrated filter monitoring system also checks the condition of the post-filters and issues a signal in the event of a filter malfunction. This ensures reliable system operation and a safe extraction process.

Using a summer/winter switch, the purified exhaust air can be directed outdoors or recirculated back into the production area, as needed. This allows for the efficient use of the already heated indoor air, particularly during the heating season.

💚 Together with NEXTFILTER, we combine technology, experience, and innovative strength. The result: customized filtration and extraction solutions for efficient processes, long-lasting technology, and clean workplaces.
