Extreme mountaineer Marc Grün from Ulm will soon be making his way to the “mountain of death” – the #Aconcagua in Argentina! At 6,962 meters, the Aconcagua is not only the highest mountain in South America and part of the famous 7 Summits, but also one of the most dangerous challenges for mountaineers. Extreme cold, unforgiving weather conditions and thin mountain air make this summit a real touchstone.
“The Aconcagua should not be underestimated. Due to the extreme weather conditions, it should be treated like an 8,000-metre peak in terms of difficulty,” says Marc, assessing the situation.
