Production halls rarely have a pleasant climate like the fresh air. Various industrial processes generate dust and welding fumes, which must be extracted and filtered to protect the workforce and comply with occupational safety regulations.

This can either be done via direct extraction at the point of origin, for example. through an extraction arms or as a centralized hall extraction with a fixed piping system. This has the advantage that the indoor air quality can be kept constantly high and, above all, automatically.

Depending on the process and pollutant content in the air, there are various techniques for hall extraction, such as stratified ventilation, which is also recommended by the IFA, the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (IFA).
