The production of foodstuffs<\/a> such as baked goods generates coarse and fine dusts that cover all surfaces, spread in the air and can lead to cross-contamination and allergies. In order to protect employees, machines and products from contamination and to ensure the quality of the products, these dusts must be safely extracted. <\/p>\n For our customer, we have developed a custom-fit extraction solutions in compliance with the ATEX guidelines<\/strong><\/a> for explosive dusts. \u26a1\ufe0f<\/p>\n The P 4000 series filter units<\/a> are designed for ATEX Zone 22 and are suitable for organic and inorganic dust types of dust explosion classes ST1 and ST2. Our extraction solutions<\/a> are built according to the principle of primary explosion protection<\/strong> and prevent the formation of explosive atmospheres. To further minimize the risk of fire<\/a> and explosion, a precoat unit<\/a> is also installed, which applies a precoating agent (so-called filter aid) to the filters at regular intervals. A cyclone pre-separator<\/a> was installed on the side as a spark trap to further reduce the risk of fire and explosion. Pre-separators are also used for large quantities of material to relieve the main filters. <\/p>\n In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 852\/2004 of the European Parliament, strict hygiene regulations must be observed in food production. For this reason, the suction-side piping in the production rooms is made of stainless steel. <\/p>\n Due to the large amount of material generated in the production process, the captured media is discharged automatically via a rotary valve.<\/p>\n The filtered air is then discharged to the outside in exhaust air mode.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udd17 P series filter units<\/a> [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n
Filter units<\/a> are extraction units with a separate fan that can be installed individually or in combination both indoors and outdoors. They are used, for example, if the fan has to be positioned separately due to the low room height.<\/p>\n
The filter units are electrically conductive, have an equipotential bonding point and a compressed air tank in accordance with ATEX<\/a> Zone 22.<\/p>\n
The concentration of combustible particles is reduced by mixing the non-combustible precoating agent (limestone powder) with the extracted dust. The precoating agent is removed from the filters together with the dust particles via the automatic jet pulse cleaning system. <\/p>\n
